After carefully reviewing the time I have available after daily activities and events I realized I really can’t afford to take on anymore work. On a good day I get 4hrs of personal time to work on whatever I’d like. Some days I only get 2. This really isn’t the time I was hoping to find when making a schedule. In short I’d like to use this time to concentrate on my comic. I’ll be finishing up the work I have (commission wise) then using those slots to complete my comic pages. My goal is to have my commissions finished within three weeks.

I don’t see this schedule calming much over the summer either. lol Most of my daily events will be replaced with new ones then. Ah… busy life. I hope this scheduling thing works out. I hate schedules, but last time I used one it really did help me stay less stressed and more productive.

I have a few pages sketched out (one inked) but nothing finalized to put up at the moment. There’s been a delay in what I’ve wanted to do mostly due to my poor time management skills. Hoping to remedy that now. I know I won’t have any time to work on it today sadly, but hopefully I can put a couple hours aside the rest of the week.

I’ve been working on a gaming project with my husband over at Late Night Studio, and we’ve been cleaning out our home, packing, and doing pre-planning for a move this August: going from a home we own to a fairly good sized apartment. Still, lots to throw out.

Because of my poor management I’ve been burning myself out doing nothing but those things above, then getting all depressed about it. Hopefully with time tracking and living by a schedule (yuck) I can get everything done in the day that I’d like to.

So thanks for all your support guys, sorry I haven’t been around much for you. I’m happy so many people like Yaoumei. Knowing that encourages me even more to keep going. Feel free to ask her something on her blog as well. I pick at the answers there when I have 20-30min to work on something. It takes me a while to finish a response that way, but it’s still fun, and I love the questions people come up with for her. Her personality is so different from my own, it helps me to understand her better as well.
